The Central Okanagan Food Bank is comprised of a caring, compassionate group of individuals who help community members facing financial and food insecurities, without consideration of race, religion or creed. As a member of Food Banks Canada and Food Banks BC, the Central Okanagan Food Bank provides food assistance to over 4,000 individuals on a monthly basis and supports over 25 partner agencies with surplus food. We strive to provide healthy and nutritious foods to neighbours within the community, utilizing best practices of food purchase and preparation, creating partnerships and alliances for the effective and efficient collection and distribution of foods. We also provide appropriate and accurate referrals. The Central Okanagan Food Bank is committed to its vision of being a leader in creating a community where no one goes hungry.
