Gather By is an Australian innovative medicinal honey farming model. In collaboration with regional communities including First Nations People and several Australian Universities, Gather By produces high-value, pure, raw and potent medicinal and therapeutic honey known as Gather By Bioactive+ Australian Manuka that it sells to the local, national and global market. Gather By has developed world-first Medicinal Honey Forest™ plantations which combine Medicinal Clonal Selection Leptospermum strains, bee fodder plants and novel agricultural practices to sustainably produce the highest grade of Bioactive Australian Manuka honey while prioritising bee health and land regeneration. Gather By enables Farmers and Landholders to plant these Medicinal Honey Forests and acquires the honey seasonally from the grower, based on MGO levels and market price. Conventional farming practices typically generate returns within 5%-10%. By comparison Gather By's Medicinal Honey Forest™ plantations can generate returns of 15%-19% or more.
