The Healthy Fathering Collaborative is network of social and health services for fathers in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. Services are provided over the lifespan of fatherhood, beginning with young men who are not yet fathers, through all the stages of fatherhood, and into fathering in the community by grandfathers, male mentors and father figures. The HFC also promotes "healthy fathering" through a series of community events and campaigns throughout the year, in collaboration with partners. These include events to promote fathers reading to their children (Books Under the Sun), father involvement in education (Fathers Walk), engaging men in preventing unintended pregnancy (PATTHS for Dads), and engaging men and boys in taking a public stand against violence (White Ribbon Campaign) The Healthy Fathering Collaborative model supports and encourages fathers to develop their assets as nurturers, caregivers and providers of their children.
