Southern Tennessee Renovation: Opened their door in 2013 as a Demolition and Clean-up Company. We Opened are doors in Columbia TN as R&S Demolition and Clean-up. We change are name in 2016 to Cook’s Demolition Services as a Family run Company with the idea to Expand to more than just Demolition and Clean-up. So, we got into mold and soot clean-up also into Hoarder house clean-up we also got in to storm damage clean-up Are first major contract being with 5ive Star Restoration in Columbia Tn in August of 2013 in 2014 Delmar Homes Contracted us to start doing work with them in 2015 we got are first big contract with York Construction in Memphis TN to do Demolition and Clean-up at The Marriott Hotel in Franklin Tn. We did other small jobs during that time Frame. On April 27 2018 the owner was injured in a bad on the job site Accident involving Explosion during a controlled burn which resulted in 3rd Degree Burns on his arms face and head This happened because of negligence of two employees in the result of the Accident it put the owner in the Hospital and bed rest for 2 months. Do to this accident it shut down the company for 3 months in August of 2018 the Company was Re opened with his wife taking over the Company she restructured the Company by changing the ways on how we hire employees and how the job site is operated. We also started laying insulation and vapor barriers so we are able to pick up more work. In January of 2019 They changed the way pay works today to make it fear for the Employees and the Company new rules has been implemented on the pay wages and pay period. Also, they made sure no employee works more than others also to make sure that no work starts until all equipment Dumpsters and material is there. his wife has made it better for the Company and employees by Treating the employees more like Family By having Family functions and by encouraging are employees to look out for each other and their family two. they also encourage are employees to come
