MathAltitude School of Mathematics the first after-school and weekend math enrichment program offering comprehensive mathematical education for kindergarten to high school age students in Worcester, MA. MathAltitude curriculum is based on the most effective European teaching methodologies, which allow learning mathematics in a systematic, structural, and logical way. Our program is an adaptation of the best international practices in mathematical education to the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for Mathematics incorporating the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics ratified by the state in 2010. Our goal is to encourage: logical reasoning, analytical thinking, independent learning. We want children to embrace math, appreciate its beauty, and become life-long advocates of the importance of mathematics. Our students not only excel in their regular math classes, but successfully participate in renown mathematical competitions: American Math Competitions (AMC-8, 10, 12), American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME), Math Kangaroo, the Johns Hopkins University Talent Search Program (JHU CTY).
