Casa Belvedere, The Italian Cultural Foundation of New York, seeks to preserve, promote and educate on the rich heritage of Italy by encouraging an appreciation of the Italian language, arts, literature, history, fashion, cuisine and commerce through educational programs, exhibits and events. Also, an integral part of the cultural foundation's mission is to preserve and restore it's gifted headquarters: Casa Belvedere. PURPOSE & GOALS • To preserve and promote the Italian Language, Heritage and Culture through educational programs for all age levels. • To highlight the many positive contributions of Italians and Italian-Americans in this country. • To empower our youth by fostering a deeper understanding of their heritage and culture. • To ensure the Italian language, traditions, holidays, feasts and family values stay alive.
