Parkes Christian School aims to be known in Parkes, Forbes and throughout Central West NSW as a provider of quality Christian education where each child is encouraged, supported and challenged to achieve their personal best. We aim to provide a curriculum that exceeds the state and federal requirements and in embedded with Christian principles and teaching. In Infants and Primary the focus has been to develop literacy and numeracy and we have seen pleasing results for individual students targeted in this program. The school would not have the excellent results that it has without the dedicated work of the team of teachers and support staff that aid the students and their learning. All staff at Parkes Christian School are committed Christians who subscribe to the School’s Statement of Faith. They are committed to teach from a Christian worldview and to model this behaviour in their lives. The parent body and our wider family community are outstanding in their support and contributions to the daily life of the school.
