Mission Statement The fundamental mission of the Central Falls Police Department is to protect life and property; enforce the law in a fair and impartial manner; preserve the peace, order, and safety of the community we serve; safeguard the constitutional guarantees; and provide other police-related services as required by the community in a manner consistent with the values of a free society. The Uniformed Division is charged with the primary responsibility for all law enforcement activities within the community. The Uniformed Division’s mission is to preserve the peace, protect life and property against the effects of criminal activity and to ensure the safety of the motoring public by enforcing all traffic laws. The Investigative Division is responsible for follow-up inquiries of all major crimes, such as murder, robbery, rape, burglary, and serious assaults. The Investigative Division also examines any other crimes that warrant an in-depth investigation as determined on a case by case basis. The Administrative Division consists of a variety of officers within the agency which develop policy and perform the ancillary functions which support the field operations within the Central Falls Police Department.
