Having felt multiple tugs at the heart for doing some charity for the underprivileged and needy for many years, we finally decided to take action which resulted in the formation of JIA Foundation. JIA Foundation is named after our parents Smt. Jaswanti Rani Agarwal and Shri Ishwar Das Agarwal. We hope to bring about a positive impact in the lives of at least a few genuinely needy people. We look forward to partnering with other similar-minded people and organizations who also feel similar tugs in their hearts. JIA Foundation is a public charitable trust duly registered with the Charitable Commissioner under the Bombay Trust Act 1950. The main missions of the foundation are: 1. Creating sustainable livelihood for the upliftment of underprivileged people. 2. Providing food and other basic necessities for the underprivileged and needy. 3. Invest in the lives of children through the advancement of education. 4. Contribute to health and wellbeing by providing medical relief to needy people. 5. Contribute to animal welfare through rescue & rehabilitation of animals and providing shelter, food, and medical care to animals. 6. Building healthy environments to create lasting change by adopting environment-friendly practices. Of course, the above missions are possible only by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
