This Network brings together representatives from all health disciplines from within the University. The aims of the Network include creation of interprofessional education opportunities and events, linking health students prior to entering the workplace, and fostering mutual respect and an appreciation of the unique skills and knowledge that each professional brings to an interdisciplinary team Collaboration starts now. Mission: To promote and develop interprofessional education and practice through curriculum review and development, facilitation of interprofessional education opportunities and events and connection of health students prior to entrance into the workplace. Vision: To develop an interprofessional network of healthcare graduates to transform healthcare education and delivery. Club aims: The aims of the Network include creation of interprofessional education opportunities and events, linking health students prior to entering the workplace, and fostering mutual respect and an appreciation of the unique skills and knowledge that each professional brings to an interdisciplinary team Members and committee: Membership is open to students from all healthcare disciplines at the University of Melbourne. Disciplines include: Medicine, Optometry, Dentistry, Audiology, Physiotherapy, Music Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing and Public Health. The committee strives to represent all areas of health, appointing a representative from each discipline to comprise the general committee. In 2019, we are striving to include and collaborate with health disciplines from other universities.
