Soil for Life is a non-profit organisation (NPO) based in Cape Town, South Africa, that helps people learn to grow healthy, organic food using simple, low-cost, environmentally-friendly methods. We believe everyone has the potential to grow nutritious food, with whatever resources they have available. Since we began in 2002 we have helped thousands of people in impoverished communities develop productive and sustainable home food gardens. We also run health and well-being workshops in the community, and various earth-friendly gardening and health workshops at our beautiful garden and training centre in Constantia.
