Colla Design’s Founder and Principal Antonio Collamat has 20 plus years of experience in furniture design and engineering. A native of Cebu, Philippines, and citizen of the United States, Antonio has worked on projects and for companies in his native country, Indonesia, China, and the USA. He is based in Northern Illinois, in a university town on the edge of the Chicago area. Antonio brings a unique visual talent to each of his projects. He describes his style as Traditional Modern. An accomplished, professional photographer and student of history, Antonio’s work is informed by traditional aesthetics with modern design styles and use of materials, to create unique pieces and sets that look great online, in showrooms, and individual homes. The Colla Design team also comprises a small administrative staff and trusted advisors who deliver experience and insight into the firm’s work.
