The Martuscelli Restaurant Group was formed in 2016 after the acquisition of Klondike Kate's Restaurant & Saloon in downtown Newark Delaware by Gilda & Gianmarco Martuscelli. The two other locations that form the group are La Casa Pasta Restaurant in Newark, Delaware and the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant & Marina in Chesapeake City, Maryland. All the locations offer an array of different dining experiences with years of experience in the field. La Casa Pasta's specialty is in homemade pastas and italian dishes from the cilento region of Italy. The restaurant was started in 1978 by Anna & Giuseppe Martuscelli. The Chesapeake Inn was formed in 1996 by Gilda & Gianmarco and has grown into a top destination on the eastern shore of Maryland. The location offers an array of dining options with its very popular Deck and Tiki Bar, year round dining in the Main Restaurant and their elegant Ballroom hosts weddings throughout the calendar year along with a number of specialty events. The 60 slip marina attached to the location offers guests another mode of transportation to visit this location. The addition of Klondike Kate's has rounded out the group with its local family friendly environment in the heart of downtown Newark. It has become a staple on Main Street and loved by Alumni and students of the University of Delaware. The Restaurant Group has in recent years expanding to doing a number of offsite and catered events from weddings to special events in homes or businesses.
