Gasoxmed - Gases Medicinais S.A. was established in 2003 by Gasmedi S.A. to provide home care to patients with respiratory diseases, focusing on growth and the creation of a prominent position in the Portuguese market. The GASMEDI Group (Gasoxmed in Portugal) was acquired in 2012 by the Air Liquide group, consolidating the growth objectives of home-based respiratory care and strengthening Air Liquide Home Healthcare's position of leadership in Europe. In this way Gasoxmed benefited from the know-how and commitments of an integral program of Security, Quality and Environment of the Air Liquide group, becoming a reference company in the assistance of respiratory treatments at home.
