The Cedar Coast Field Station (CCFS) is an independent, not-for-profit society with a vision to preserve ecological health through place-based research and education that celebrates the cultural and biological diversity of Clayoquot Sound, A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. In practice, we provide education groups and researchers with accommodation and resources to learn from the local ecology. We acknowledge and honour the traditional territories of the Keltsmaht, Ahousaht, Hesquiaht, and ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ (Tla-o-qui-aht) First Nations. In the spirit of truth, healing and reconciliation, Cedar Coast Field Station invites all visitors to join us as respectful guests in this unceded Nuu-chah-nulth Ha’huulthii.
