While the Blendtek brand is still relatively new to the market, the company has been operating as the distribution arm of the Kissner Group since 1878. Over the years, Kissner invested heavily in becoming recognized as an industry leader in the manufacturing of ice melter and other salt products but the distribution side of the business that is now operating as Blendtek, was the foundation of where the legacy of the Kissner Group began. Much of Kissner’s success can be attributed to Blendtek’s distribution operations and with the autonomy gained from the separation, we are now pursuing opportunities to expand into new markets with new products and services.
