The Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, in collaboration with Michigan Tech and Henry Ford College, trains engineering students in energy efficiency, energy management, energy conservation, and a broad range of other topics. Faculty and students conduct on-site assessments at manufacturing facilities and commercial buildings to identify energy saving and sustainability-focused opportunities. This center was founded in 2021 and is a program of the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Manufacturing Office.
