Social Connect is Indonesia's first school of well-being that focuses on achieving a balance between mental and physical health. Currently, in Indonesia, around 12 million people aged 15 and above are depressed. The Ministry of public health predicted that in the coming years, 1 out of 5 people in Indonesia would experience mental health problems. Indonesia still lacks proper mental health facilities, places and numbers of research, affordable treatment, and good education about mental health issues. This will significantly impact the entire population, ranging from quality of life to the ability to work productively and even physical health. This can harm Indonesia not only in terms of the human index but also in economic losses and opportunities for development. At Social Connect, we have various training programs, workshops, and activities to help people acquire mental health competencies. With these competencies, people can thrive and achieve optimal well-being.
