Our purpose is to: - help raise and address issues that affect people with disability - share good ideas and practices across the industry to support the employment of people with disability - raise awareness about the rights of people with disability - improve inclusion and access for employees and customers with disability - advocate for members - promote disability pride - support people with disability to progress their careers. Everyone is welcome to join the WaterAble network. The network is open to anyone working in the Victorian water sector who has a disability or who wants to support our initiatives. WaterAble encourages people to consider the full range of disabilities in our community to ensure our organisations cater to all our employees and customers. For example: people with physical disabilities; people with low hearing or low vision; people with long-term illness, including mental illness; people with brain injuries or people with autism.
