The China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC) was established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) with the joint efforts of the University of Edinburgh (UoE) in May 2017 and is the first low carbon college in China. Drawing on world-class expertise in research and education from SJTU and UoE, LCC aims to build up a talent database of world-leading experts of the low carbon industry, conduct fundamental research in the low carbon disciplines, and offer executive training and innovation services for governments and low carbon enterprises, which ultimately provides talent and technology support to accelerate the transition to a lower carbon society and contribute to a sustainable future.
