To help you get your optimal health back, chiropractors uses their hands—hence the Greek word “chiro”—as well as specialized equipment to perform chiropractic adjustments. In fact, the central nervous system is responsible for communicating information between the brain and different parts of the body. When there is interference, also called subluxation, communication flows may be restricted from working naturally. The role of a chiropractor is to restore this communication by focusing on the causes of the problem in order to maintain or improve current physical condition. Patients do not need a doctorʼs referral to see a chiropractor. Working straight from the body allows a chiropractor to make a diagnosis and create a treatment program for your well-being and health goals.
