BWOWNIES
www.bwownies.comFounded in 2016 by sixth form student Keelan Waldock. Whilst working a part time at Mcdonalds, Keelan was baking brownies as a hobby, soon realising he had created the fudgiest brownies EVER BWOWNIES was born. Fast forward 5 years, BWOWNIES built a forever growing social following of over 15k followers across social media platforms. BWOWNIES delivers a wide variety of brownies nationwide across the UK. Alongside running BWOWNIES, Keelan is currently completing a Sport and Health Science degree at the University of Exeter. Social media has been a key element of BWOWNIES success so far. Keelan, a sixth form student at the time, used his brownies as leverage for students to share his instagram page. This got the ball rolling, from their it was about continuing the steep climb. After plateauing for years, BWOWNIES finally got the breakthrough it was after. The UK national lockdown meant many influencers were sat at home, responding to their own emails. Keelan pounced on this opportunity sending BWOWNIES to A list celebrities in exchange for social media posts. Then came another plateau. Keelan thought to send a box of BWOWNIES to Pleesecakes owner Joe Moruzzi complete with a handwritten letter, expressing how inspiring his business has been to BWOWNIES. Pleesecakes received the BWOWNIES and posted the story. This led to the overnight success of BWOWNIES so far. The next steps for BWOWNIES are to have its very own unit, hire a team and get BWOWNIES into retail stores.
