CMHA of Northern BC has an office in Prince George BC providing a variety of direct services to individuals impacted by mental illness and addictions - these include life skills, vocational supports, housing supports and peer support.. We also have an office in Quesnel BC providing counselling services and a program directed at reducing food insecurity. Throughout Northern BC we provide virtual peer support services, Bounce Back coaching services for individuals 15+ impacted by low to moderate depression and/or anxiety, Confident Parents Thriving Kids coaching program for parents dealing with children impacted by anxiety or behavioral issues, and a Public Education program focused on reducing stigma and increasing skills. Public Education includes training in Mental Health First Aid, ASIST, SafeTALK, Responding with Respect, Duct Tape is not Enough and tailored courses for your needs. We also operate three social enterprises that provide employment and training to individuals impacted by mental illness while also providing services to our community. Two Rivers Catering provide delicious and health meals - Second Chance Thrift Store provides quality used clothing - A Little of This 'n a Little of That provides small portion purchasing for items like laundry detergent and food products etc that allow those living in poverty to stretch their dollars.
