Imperfect Eco-Hero
www.imperfectecohero.comImperfect Eco-Hero aims to use storytelling as a way to connect with and celebrate the local ecology and global community of people who are resisting the commodification, privatization and exploitation of the Earth and all life on it. By changing the way we view our relationship with nature, we believe that the seemingly impossibilities of climate change can be made possible and ecological justice can be achieved. We can all together form a community of ecolisteners. Why are we using stories to tackle climate change? 📚 🌍 Throughout history, stories have been a source of knowledge, wisdom, and deeper understanding. Stories can teach us about life, about others and about ourselves. The goal of the Imperfect Eco-Hero is to use storytelling as a way of not only inspiring people, but to help develop a deeper and richer understanding, respect and appreciation for the planet. We want these stories to help us connect to the local ecology in a safe community of EcoListeners and to challenge the prevailing notion that humans are superior to others. We understand that people want to change and fight for the protection of the planet, but can often feel overwhelmed or confused as to how they as individuals can act on this. We believe in the power of using positivity to inspire people to find that aspect of fighting #climatechange and to make it seem less impossible to them. Through storytelling we can encourage a paradigm shift that will repair the human-nature relationship and share both theoretical and practical ways of achieving this. If we are all imperfect conservationists, we can help to improve the health of the planet and its future. _____ If you or someone you know have a story to tell about how you’re fighting climate change, email us at imperfectecohero@gmail.com
