Hot Chili is based in Hoi An, Vietnam, a quaint seaside town famous for it's textile industry. The beauty of this place attracts a huge number of tourists from Vietnam and the rest of the world. Hot Chili’s artwork is hand painted, photographed on digital camera, configured in Photoshop and put onto screen at Sao Viet Screenprinters. It is then printed onto 100% natural cotton knitted in Ho Chi Minh City. Inks are soft feel and non solvent based inks from Japan and America. The panels are then sewn into dresses at Sao Viet. All work is done in house. Hot Chili prides itself on its skills, product versatility and design. There is a subtle Asian influence reflected in the art and the dresses themselves have the feel of a casual Australian lifestyle. The combination has created a product which can be casual with jeans or dressed up with high heels and jewelry.
