The Orlando Margarita Society (OMS) in a nonprofit organization whose mission statement is to support children’s organizations that provide gifts to children during the holiday season. These organiazations are often passed over by other similar charities. The OMS prides itself in being one of the few organizations where 100% of your donations, in the form of gifts that guests bring to the event, go directly to the charitable recipients -- with no administrative fees or salaries of any kind. The OMS directors (those wearing identical scarfs at the Ball) donate their time and money to facilitate the event. Additionally, the OMS follows your gifts from the time you bring them through the door at the Ball, to the delivery of your toys to the children. We are proud to say that we are also one of the very few organizations that can provide accountability as well. While similar charity functions of the same caliber charge between $125 and $500 per person for their event, we ask only that the unwrapped gift you bring is worth at LEAST $50 for each person who attends. When choosing a gift to bring, please keep in mind the caliber of our Ball, the donations that other organizations request for the same type of event, and the assurance that your gift is going directly to whom it is intended.
