The Catholic Pro-Life Community, the Respect Life Ministry of the Diocese of Dallas, is devoted to ending abortion and restoring respect and legal protection for every human life. The CPLC carries out this mission, under the leadership of Executive Director Geralyn Kaminsky, through the following life-saving ministries serving the public: 1. Convert to Life / Sidewalk Counseling - offers prayer, guidance, and help for women and men considering abortion 2. Project Gabriel - offers emotional support, practical help and spiritual guidance to mothers experiencing an unexpected pregnancy 3. Healing after Abortion - serves men and women suffering from the trauma of abortion with healing retreats, emotional and spiritual support and mental health referrals 4. Education Ministry - educates youth and adults the beauty of life and chastity and offers peer-based outreach to inspire our teens to become the new generation of pro-life leaders 5. Community Outreach -- mobilizes the community to engage in and evangelize the Gospel of Life through prayer, peaceful public witness, and advocacy. 6. Hispanic Pastoral Ministry - brings the pro-life, pro-family message to Spanish-speaking communities The Catholic Pro-Life Community has been heralded as the largest and most effective diocesan pro-life organization in the world and a model for the nation.
