Glimmer takes an integrated approach that helps farming families prosper and entire communities thrive. Glimmer supports economic empowerment and food security as the foundation of resilience. Our livelihoods loans and trainings are supported by our community health and education programs, creating a path toward sustainable change. Resilience grows when a family’s basic needs are met and they have the skills and safety net to deal with the challenges of rural life. Since Glimmer’s founding in 2000, we have invested over $85 million, completed more than 10,000 projects and impacted 5 million lives.
