We are transforming the surgery experience by empowering patients to take better care of themselves. Our vision is a healthcare experience where Patients feel in control of their recovery process, take actions to improve their outcomes and have personalized guidance available to them in real time, any time. We partner with Healthcare Systems, Surgeons and their teams to give patients access to Maya, a digital nurse who is available to help them during their recovery. Our partners are using Maya to fill the space between patient interactions to answer patient questions, give reminders, and provide reassurance. Maya is able to have a conversation with patients that is similar to text messaging, and she understands the overall recovery path of patients after surgery, as well as the protocols and regimens prescribed by their physician. Maya continues to learn about the patient over time, and adapts her approach to meet the patient where they are, providing greater effectiveness within each interaction. We are a team of builders; engineers, designers, clinicians and customer service. We value teamwork and collaboration across functions. Everyone on our team is asked to actively engage in strategy, research and cross functional work to actively contribute to our vision. We believe in a process of innovation and creative problem solving.
