Putting People Over Party, Unite NY is a movement of Democrats, Republicans, and independents working together to foster a more representative and functional government. Unite NY invests in reforms and candidates that will focus on a fairer, more open government, that allows New Yorkers to succeed on their own rather than having to rely on the government. We work to support right leaders with the right incentives to solve our state’s greatest problems. By building collaboration among leaders from all parties and persuasions, Unite NY will seek to address New York’s greatest problems with common sense solutions. For far too long, we’ve been told that to participate in our democracy, it is necessary to choose one of the two major parties, often the lesser of two evils. That’s simply not true or healthy. This two-party doom loop leaves New Yorkers out in the cold and diminishes the voices of more than 3 million voters that don’t feel at home enough to register in either party.
