Andrew Olson (CEO) and Steve Kuhn (CIO) formed Hill Country Asset Management in September 2020 after seeing the dislocation in the markets created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hill Country takes an opportunistic approach to investing across the municipal bond and U.S. mortgage-backed securities markets. The firm is headquartered in the greater Austin, Texas area, with the Business Development function based in New York City.
