Established in 1981 by Linda Ensko, M.Ed., Buckle My Shoe continues to inspire and encourage success with dedication to meaningful and joyful learning. A preschool that offers curriculum from the ages of three months to five years old. Our programs integrate developmentally appropriate education at each age level, utilizing the tenets of Jean Piaget , the Bank Street Philosophy of teaching and the Reggio Emilia approach to early education. Acting parental and community involvement, reflective documentation of learning experiences, respect for children's process, and recognition of the power of play are essential components. These elements support and develop an "emergent curriculum” guided by the children's involving interests, growth and related accomplishments.
