Launched in 2012, Just Fur Fun was founded by Mona Straub who also serves as our lead designer. To start her own business, Mona left behind a career working in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies, chasing her dream of doing something that involves her first love--animals. Combining her passion for pampering her pets with her eye for fashion, Mona began creating designs for pet collars, leashes, equestrian browbands and accessories for humans. With her completed designs, she searched for the best suppliers, focusing only on U.S.-based craftsmen. As a result, everything that goes into Just Fur Fun products, from our Amish-produced leather to our hand beading, is made in the USA. The quality of our products caused leaders in the dog industry to notice us quickly, and we were proud to have our line of collars and leashes chosen to be featured at the New York Pet Fashion Show held before the 136th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Since then, word about our luxurious, handmade pet accessories has continued to spread as more and more people discover the fun of dressing their pets in Just Fur Fun.
