Combining research, graduate programmes and teaching, Munich Aerospace has succeeded in institutionally interlinking its four member institutions Technical University of Munich (TUM), University of the German Armed Forces Munich (UniBw), German Aerospace Centre particularly its institutes located in Oberpfaffenhofen (DLR), and Bauhaus Luftfahrt (BHL). The nexus of business, research and public policy, Munich Aerospace links great diversity of scientific and technical expertise, sets key research objectives, identifies new research goals and promotes the Munich region as an international centre for technology, the sciences and further education in the field of aerospace now and in the future.
