Femme Revamp was founded in 2020 by Angela Tai. She is also the co-founder of AD Talent, an executive search firm based in NYC. This blog was created based on the founder's fascination with the word “femme” and what it represents. Through a quick Google search, you’ll inevitably see lexicons, like “femme fatale” and “butch/femme”, with social controversy and sexist connotation.The origin of the word “femme” simply means “women” in French. She is a minority who works in the talent acquisition space and diversity, equality & inclusion aren’t just a box for her to check off, but something that's embedded in her daily life. She's humbled by the people she has gotten to know in the past 15 years - those who stand behind women of all races, creeds, ages, and sexual orientation. She is happy to recruit trusted voices to share their experiences. Femme Revamp is a place for her to pay homage to some of these incredible humans.
