I have a background in business management since more than 30 years and have been working as Global Sustainability Manager and Managing Director within the IKEA Group. Most of the years with direct responsibility for bottom line performance. MY WORK IS PROFITABLE By this I have got wide experiences of the different business dimensions and know how to best integrate sustainability securing responsible business performance, long term profitability and a strong brand reputation. The integration process has to involve all important stakeholders and I have managed many seminars on management level using different techniques e.g. Future Search. Today I know by experience that sustainability as an integrated part in all dimensions of the business makes sure that the issues are taken care of in a professional way. It also generates cost savings, increased productivity and thereby increased profitability.
