African Union of Conservationists (AUC) is an independent nongovernment organization and mandated to work and promote contemporary conservation activities, facilitate joint work with INGOs, NGOs, CBOs, CSOs, local authorities, governments among its members. It was established with an aim to encourage the wider understanding of conservation and development through conservation scientists' partnerships between members, researchers, professionals and volunteers.
