Trips for Kids Metro NY's (TFK) mission is to provide transformative cycling experiences which promote a healthy, recreational lifestyle, environmental awareness, and personal empowerment for young people of all communities, especially those most in need. The TFK introduces families to mountain biking in an urban environment. Our rides develop each participant’s skills on the bike while developing a passion for the great outdoors. We use the bike as a tool to teach lessons in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness. Our goal is to develop lifetime cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.
