Anesteziologiya i Reanimatologiya is a Russian journal of Anaesthesiology. The journal pays a special attention to problems of general anesthesia in surgery, intensive care and reanimation. A high position on the pages of the journal is held by the promotion of advanced methods of anesthesiology and critical care medicine in obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics (including neonatology), dentistry, otolaryngology, ambulatory practice and many other fields. There are systematically covered unrelated to surgery issues of critical care for injuries, poisonings, infectious diseases. For practical anesthesiologists and emergency physicians there was set a special section devoted to rare or instructive practical observations, errors and complications complemented by their analysis commentaries from leading experts. The journal publishes reviews and lectures on topical issues of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, discussion papers, (introduces readers to the methods and practice of teaching of general anesthesia, intensive care and resuscitation). There are highlighted related questions of physiology, pharmacology and hematology. The journal widely covers the issues of the new anesthetic equipment, tools for monitoring and instant diagnosis, puts up to new drugs for anesthesia. The journal publishes the minutes of the meetings of Societies of Anaesthesiologists and emergency physicians in Moscow, reports on world congresses, meetings and plenary meetings of the Board of Scientific Society of Anesthesiologists and emergency physicians, informational materials and reviews of various publications.
