Already some 200 years ago the Kornumstecher were appointed by the Senate of Hamburg to control the quality and weight of all grain that was stored and transshipped in Hamburg. The Kornumstecher company is a joint venture out of four former businesses of which the oldest one was founded in 1813. Our historical name stands for modern services which over the centuries have been adjusted to meet the demands and needs of the monitoring business. Our staff are trained as supervisors in the area of loose agricultural products, fertilizers, and other bulk solids and are sworn in by the Chamber of Commerce.
