Project in a box is a program started by Professor Truong, Chair of UCSD’s ECE department. The core idea - provide students with real-world application of theory with fun and engaging projects. Started in 2016, the program quickly grew into 3 hands on classes, and the original team of project developers grew from a small team of 10 to a consistent 40 every quarter. Currently hosting 7 finished projects and 10 more upcoming, project in a box is posed to expand beyond UCSD as a medium for many forms of education from high-schools to training for company employees. The overall mission is to change how education is taught and bring engineering to schools around the U.S. If you can dream it, you can build it. And we're here to help.'
