InnovationCampus Future Mobility
www.icm-bw.deThe InnovationCampus creates a platform to promote a lively exchange between the various scientific fields, but also between science and industry, and thus strengthens the Stuttgart-Karlsruhe research region as well as Baden-Württemberg as a business location. The InnovationCampus has defined several core objectives: On the basis of excellent, interdisciplinary basic research, * to produce disruptive technologies, new innovation processes and leap innovations in enabling technologies, * to transfer these to industry and * to contribute to actively shaping the transformation of mobility. Through the unique combination and networking of the competencies of the university and research locations Stuttgart and Karlsruhe, * new research areas are to be opened up, * scientific excellence and the training of young scientists in Baden-Württemberg are to be strengthened, and * international visibility is to be increased. Research formats of the InnovationCampus at a glance: * New basic research projects in the research fields Advanced Manufacturing, Emission-free Mobility, Software-defined Mobility and Software-defined Manufacturing * Bottom-up projects for young scientists * Junior research groups and junior professorships * InnovationChallenge Mobility and Production * Further Professorships The InnovationCampus has been funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) Baden-Württemberg since 01.07.2019.
