Who is Lucina? Lucina was the Roman Goddess of childbirth.  In ancient Rome, when women went into labor, Lucina was called upon to safeguard the mother. We have chosen Lucina as our company name to honor all birth mothers and share in the wish for the safe delivery of a healthy and happy child. Our Mission To act as a bridge connecting the generosity of birth mothers with the needs of recipients to enhance quality of life and wellness. Our Vision To advance the understanding of the benefits of birth tissue, to improve recovery and preservation methods, and to expand its availability for more recipients addressing more therapeutic needs.
