While periods are talked about more than ever, there hasn’t been a transformative change in the way society accepts menstruation or supports and empowers people who get periods. We’re here to change that. At The Period Place, we encourage stigma-crushing conversations, facilitate safe and inclusive period education and distribute thousands of disposable and reusable period products around Aotearoa to those who need them. Our vision: Aotearoa sustains intergenerational period equity. About us: The Period Place is the largest menstrual justice charity in Aotearoa, working towards period equity.
