AWEM Corp. is comprised of a skilled and experienced team of financial, engineering and project management staff. The team is led by CEO, Andreas Knauer who has over 30 years of experience in the financial and development aspects of wind farms. AWEM Corp. is the North American off-shoot of Andreas’ successful European development firm, Euro Wind Energy Management GmbH & KG (EWEM). Andreas has successfully contributed to the development and financing of over 400 MW of projects in Europe and now brings its expertise to AWEM Corp. with over 300 MW of projects currently in the development stage in Illinois.
