The INF is based at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University, Boston. The mission of the INF is to promote capacity building in developing country individuals and institutions in the areas of nutrition research, policy and programming. We accomplish this through three major activities: disbursing fellowships for nutrition education, publishing the Food and Nutrition Bulletin (an academic journal focusing on nutrition in developing countries), and conducting nutrition research. INF strives to brings key nutrition issues to the attention of those with national and international responsibilities for policies and resource allocation and facilitates activities that bridge and shorten the nutrition research-policy-program cycle.
