Unicla is an established and respected name in mobile equipment compressor design and manufacture that was established in Japan in 1964. Unicla's head office is in Hong Kong, and the manufacturing plant is in Chasan, China. Research and development, and environmental testing is located at the Unicla SuperTest centre in Queensland, Australia. The company is owned by the IAEL and SuperCool Group of Companies, and managed by Peter Yee and Mark Mitchell, along with other members of the Yee and Mitchell families. Unicla celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. It is universally acknowledged for its robust compressor design and manufacture of high-quality small-to-large capacity compressors for the transport air-conditioning and refrigeration industry.
