State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU) was chartered in 1935 through the efforts of eight employees of the United States Department of State. Now, decades later, our membership has grown to more than 86,000 members worldwide, and we have over $1.9 billion in assets. SDFCU’s membership is diverse and worldwide, with members from Department of State and from our affiliate Select Employee Groups.
