Dewzi was started a little over a year ago during a trip to Asia where we encountered a Japanese custom ("oshi bori") - which is a practice to present guests with a warm towel when they are seated. We were in awe of how the clean culture is deeply rooted in Asian cultures. Once we arrived back home, we were inspired to to design a sustainable, portable solution of "oshi bori" that reminded us of how a hygiene culture could manifest in the West, and from there, Dewzi was born.
