The Good Acre
www.thegoodacre.orgThe Good Acre takes the role of a food hub and adds the spokes, the wheels, and the help to keep them turning. We explore and develop cutting-edge programs and productive partnerships, each helping us more effectively support and drive positive change in the Twin Cities food system. The organization provides one-on-one grower support services to small, local produce farmers, creates wholesale markets that pay an equitable price to farmers, and support small food businesses through shared-use commercial kitchen rental and CPG focused business workshops. The Good Acre also is home to VoCul, a vocational culinary training program with a farm-to-school focus that is aimed at building up a workforce of skilled culinary professionals.
